- 1/2 pound of softened beans

- 2 pounds of rice

- 5 cups of water

- 2 finely chopped onions

- 2 crushed cloves of garlic

- 1 chicken stock cube

- 5 tablespoons of oil

- 1 teaspoon of salt

- 1 teaspoon of pepper

- Vegetables

- A little coriander

- Oregano

- Chopped celery

- 1 chopped green chilli pepper


Heat the oil and then add the chopped onion along with the garlic,

chicken stock cube, oregano, vegetables, coriander, celery, salt and

pepper. Once everything is fried, add

the beans and leave them to sauté for 3 to 5 minutes. When it all

comes to the boil, pour in more water and add the rice. Wait for

the rice to absorb the liquid and leave on a low heat for 30 minutes.
